imageRUNNER iR C3220
when i try to print anything from my PC on the IR c3220N, some errors appear. Perhaps you got the same error like me.
solution:
Error E677 0080- occurs when sending print jobs to any printer on the network that has an imagePASS C1 or C2 attached to it.
1. Verify the copier and the imagePASS C1/C2 have the latest system software installed.
2. Verify that all posted patches for the RIP (either the imagePASS C1 or C2) have been installed.
3. Try re seating the Open Interface Board in the copier.
4. Try re seating the interface cable.
5. Try change from the PCL print driver to the PS print driver.
**also check the cable between the ImagePass C1/C2 and the Reader unit
if u have a C1 image Pass software should be v 2.1/ there is also a patch when using Microsoft PowerPoint .
also the iRC 3220 should have Firmware- v90.03

Canon Color iR 3220 error code E000020-0325
ReplyDeleteThe 3 in the subcode(0325) points to an issue with the cyan drum unit.
It sounds as though prior to changing the old drums they may have dumped toner through the machine...the yellow background that you had is a giveaway.
The multiple colors on the page could be the cleaning assembly being overwhelmed from the drums dumping....one screw and out comes the cleaning assembly and wipe the blade with a clean cloth.
Sadly i think it's past the stage for you as a machine owner to service...time to call a tech.
The ITB assembly needs to be looked at ...if the toner dumped through the machine the assembly needs to come out and be washed up to avoid color registration issues.For that particular subcode the SALT sensor needs to be wiped clean with a cloth.
It's an easy fix but you really need a tech to look at the machine just for a clean up to ensure no problems remain from the old drums dumping through the machine.

ReplyDeleteI put in a new set of drums then this error appeared and I don't know why, machine was working good before I did this. Only problem was the drums were all empty except for the yellow , I replaced them all anyway. What next?

the Old drum gave me a E00020-0181 code but it would go away after I tuned the machine off, that is why I replaced it. I was told that replacing all the drums would get rid of the E00020-0181 and it did But it now has a E00020-0124 code that won't go away.
